Minnesota Passes Paid Sick Leave Law

Effective January 1, 2024, Minnesota’s earned sick and safe time law will require employers to provide paid leave to employees, including temporary and part-time employees, who work in the state. Employees may accrue up to 48 hours per year to use for various reasons relating to illness or domestic abuse. Employee notices and worksite posters will be made available soon via the MN Department of Labor & Industry.
