January 2025: Charitable Donation Committee selects quarterly recipients

At Adams Keegan, we believe in giving back to the communities that have supported us throughout our journey. Each quarter, our Charitable Donation Committee, composed of "Employee of the Year" nominees from our TEAM Awards, thoughtfully selects organizations and events to contribute to. For the first quarter of 2025, we are proud to announce the recipients of our charitable donations:

Germantown Performing Arts Center (GPAC)

As the premier event for GPAC, the annual Gala secures funding for a diverse array of arts and education programming. From mainstage performances and Jazz in the Box to youth symphonies and ballet classes, this event ensures that GPAC continues to enrich the Memphis area. Our support directly facilitates these efforts, including programs like the Creative Arts Ensemble, which provides opportunities for adults with disabilities.

Soulsville Foundation

We are honored to work with the Soulsville Foundation, whose mission is to preserve Memphis’ rich musical legacy while empowering the next generation. Our sponsorship of the Night Train Gala aids Stax Music Academy and other impactful initiatives that inspire and educate local youth through music and history.

Junior Achievement of Memphis and the Mid-South

Helping Memphis students prepare for their future is a priority for us. Through JA Inspire, thousands of eight and eleventh graders will participate in hands-on career exploration activities. By connecting students with real-world career paths, JA Inspire plays a crucial role in developing the workforce pipeline for the Memphis area.

Slingshot Memphis

Slingshot Memphis leverages data and analytics to enhance the effectiveness of poverty-fighting efforts. Their annual MPact Awards celebrates organizations making a measurable difference in combating poverty. The event recognizes the most effective and improved nonprofits while announcing funds raised through Slingshot’s Accelerate Impact Fund, all of which are allocated to participating nonprofits based on their impact.

Hope House

Hope House aids families affected by poverty and HIV with early childhood programs and social services. CMOM After Dark, hosted at the Children’s Museum of Memphis, will help gather contributions for this vital organization. The event offers families a night of fun with after-hours museum access, character meet-and-greets, games, and more, all while benefiting Hope House’s impactful programs.

Junior League of Memphis

Empowering women to lead and create positive change is central to the Junior League of Memphis’ mission. Our support of the Develop HER Summit aligns with this goal by helping to provide a day of professional and personal development for leaders and influencers in the Memphis community.

By working with these incredible organizations and sponsoring their events, we aim to strengthen the fabric of Memphis and uplift those who need it most. We’re proud to stand with our community partners and look forward to continuing this tradition of giving throughout 2025.
